Terradime Modular, Inc. has designed and developed a cost-effective, non-combustible, green, modular structure (the “Ecoplex”), that features superb Indoor Environmental Quality focusing on healthy materials, passive design strategies and on-site renewable power generation with a goal of net zero-energy consumption and integrated state-of-the-art technologies to reduce waste generation – all aimed at eradicating the “toxic boxes” that saturate the market.
Mission: To provide temporary structures that are healthy, comfortable, cost-effective and environmentally responsible.
Vision: To insure that those in need of short term shelter can dwell and work in dignity and comfort without fear or risk to their health and safety.
The current management of Founder, Mr. George J. Mongell, and its advisors gives Terradime an internationally recognized team with which to begin its operations.
President - Mr. Mike J. Murphy has successful Fortune 15 experience in operations, business analysis, marketing analysis and systems integration. As the former Director of International Programs Operations at USGBC, Mr. Murphy developed engagement strategies with key international stakeholders and prospective partners as part of an international growth strategy for LEED including China, South Korea, South America, Europe and the UAE. Mr Murphy also established partnerships with key stakeholders such as Google, Samsung C/T, United Technologies Corporation /Carrier, ICF, Barnhart Balfour Beatty, Indra, U.S. Commercial Service and various International Green Building Councils. Mr. Murphy also owned and managed a multi-million dollar development firm and was responsible for all business and market aspects of company operations.
Director of Sustainability – Mr. Azizan Abdul-Aziz is a senior research architect at the Center for Building Performance and Diagnostics, Carnegie Mellon University. His research focuses on the design of integrated systems for commercial buildings, workplace productivity and sustainable net zero-energy buildings. He has worked on several sustainable master planning and building projects worldwide, including the US Army Corps of Engineers campus in Urbana-Champaign, the City of Wolfsburg, Germany, and the Lichtenberg District in Berlin.
Chief Marketing Officer - Mr. Mark Paat is a visual communicator specializing in print, web, and interaction design with over 10 years of experience creating everything from corporate identity programs to application interfaces. A native of Pittsburgh, Mark is a minimalist at heart with a knack for the uncommon. In 2004, Mark co-founded The Letter Thirteen Design Agency, an interdisciplinary design consultancy focused on product research & development, digital interaction & user interface design and development, corporate identity, and environmental design. Clientele includes ALCOA, Bayer Material Science, PPG, Carnegie Mellon Human Computer Interaction Institute (HCII), and KNOPP Biosciences. Mark obtained a BFA in Graphic Design from the School of Design at Carnegie Mellon.
Director of Industrial Design – Mr. Jason May is a graduate from the Carnegie Mellon School of Design with a bachelor degree in industrial design. He has experience working on various projects ranging from sustainable furniture to next generation automotive technologies. He has worked on projects for the Quality of Life Technology research center at Carnegie Mellon, Disney Research/Imagineering, and has led a variety of projects for the Letter Thirteen Design Agency. His design work has also been featured in multiple international magazines. Currently Jason Is leading industrial efforts for Terradime Innovation.He has worked on projects for the Quality of Life Technology research center at Carnegie Mellon, Disney Research/Imagineering, and has led a variety of projects for the Letter Thirteen Design Agency.
